Alabama has passed the Choose Act for students beginning in the 2025-2026 school year. What this means for you is that, depending on your income, you may qualify to have your tuition to Hooper paid by the state. The plan for the Choose Act is to benefit some lower income families for the first two years. After the first two years, it will be open to everyone no matter your income.

In theory, this means that starting in the 2027-2028 school year most of your child’s tuition could be covered by the state. We are very excited about the opportunity this will present all of our families in the near future.
