Coach Scott Phillips graduated from Huntingdon College with a B.A. In Human Performance and Kinesiology and Alabama Teacher’s Certification. He lettered 4 years on the baseball team. After graduation, Coach Phillips served as Huntingdon’s men’s assistant head basketball coach from 1996-2002. He was part of the coaching staff that won the NSCAA National Championship. Coach Phillips has served as the assistant football coach, head boy’s and girl’s basketball coach, and head baseball coach form 2002-2004 at Lowndes Academy. In 2003, he was voted girls basketball All Star coach. In 2003 and 2004 he was voted Baseball all metro coach of the year. In 2003 and 2004 Coach Phillips served as assistant football coach at Huntingdon College, working with linebackers and defensive line. He was named head women’s basketball coach at Huntingdon in 2006.
